What is OpenME?
OpenME is Open Source Merchant Empires
Merchant Empires is originally written by Bryan Burton and is based on Space Merchants which in turn is based on TradeWars 2K.
The OpenME project forked from Bryans code by the players and has been recoded in many parts and supplies an installable complete game platform.
The future holds many exciting features and system changes that will inevitably separate it from it's predecessors as a unique gaming experience. While still maintaining the ease of use and general availability through commonly available web technology.
